The Strategic Partnerships Manager will be responsible for fostering partnerships with our top partners, the leading OTAs in our industry, by enhancing performance and optimizing relationships for mutual benefit.
This role will focus on driving business growth through strong collaboration with these major partners. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge of the OTA landscape, strong relationship management skills, a marketing mindset, and the ability to align partner goals with the company’s strategic objectives. A data-driven approach is essential for success in this role.
**Please note: This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in our Barcelona office.**

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Project execution: Implement partnership strategies daily by working closely with OTAs like Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia, and Booking.com. Focus on identifying growth opportunities and meeting our common goals to support business objectives.
- Issue Resolution: Effectively handle escalations from users, internal teams, and partners to ensure prompt resolution.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Coordinate with marketing, product, and customer-facing teams to execute partnership initiatives. Ensure consistent communication and alignment with business goals through regular touchpoints and updates.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs for each partner monthly or quarterly. Regularly assess partnership performance, analyze metrics, and implement adjustments.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with OTAs, serving as the primary contact. Facilitate regular check-ins and status meetings to align both parties on objectives and drive mutual success.
- Market and Industry Awareness: Stay informed on OTA trends, market shifts, and competitive dynamics. Share insights with the team to refine strategies and keep partnership approaches relevant and effective.
Requirements
Ideal candidate qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- 3+ years in partnership management, business development, or account management within SaaS companies, ideally with experience in OTAs or the travel and hospitality industry.
- Preferred: Demonstrated success managing high-level relationships with major OTAs like Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia, and Booking.com.
Skills:
- Great at building and nurturing relationships.
- Skilled at managing multiple partnerships and aligning them with business goals.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong communicator with solid people skills.
- Problem-solving skills to evaluate partnership performance and tackle issues.
- Competent in using Google Suite (Google Sheets, Slides) or Excel/PowerPoint.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of the nuances of SaaS products and API-integrated solutions.
- Understanding of the OTA landscape and its impact on the travel and hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with key business models, trends, and partnership dynamics in the OTA space.
- Proficiency in English.
