We are seeking a Marketing Intern (with Social Media Focus) to join our team!

Responsibilities

1. Social Media & Content Distribution (45%)

  • Manage and schedule social media posts across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Re-purpose content (e.g., blogs, guides) into shareable social assets like infographics or videos.
  • Promote events organically via social channels and engage with audiences to boost reach and attendance.
  • Analyze performance metrics to improve strategies.

2. Content Management (30%)

  • Upload and maintain content across websites, ensuring SEO optimization.
  • Conduct regular audits to update outdated content and maintain accuracy.
  • Write or edit blogs to fill gaps and align with marketing goals.

3. Campaign Promotion (15%)

  • Create and execute promotional plans for webinars, events and content.
  • Monitor and report on event performance and attendee engagement.

4. Reporting & Analytics (10%)

  • Extract and analyze data using tools like GA4, Search Console, and Ahrefs.
  • Create reports and presentations for marketing strategy and performance reviews.


This role is a stepping stone to becoming a skilled marketer, with opportunities to grow in social media, SEO, and analytics within the travel and vacation rental industries.

Requirements

Key Competencies

  • Social Media Savvy: Experience or strong interest in managing social platforms like Facebook and Instagram, with basic knowledge of engagement strategies and metrics.
  • Content Creation: Ability to write and edit clear, engaging content. Design skills using tools like Canva are a plus.
  • SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization) is highly desirable.
  • Reporting Skills: Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs) to extract insights and create data-driven reports.
  • Organization & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Native English, Spanish and other languages (French, Italian) are a plus.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
