Why Guesty is offering premium features for free to all users

Earlier this year, the Guesty team set out to create a range of premium features that would help our users take their property management businesses to the next level. When COVID-19 hit, we quickly understood that our industry would be bearing the brunt of the virus’s economic impact. 

Now that these features have been developed and tested, our community of users is more focused on maintaining business stability, and we want to be there to help. In light of this new reality, we’ve decided to offer five premium features free of charge to users to support you during this challenging time and ensure you come out stronger than ever as travel recovers. The features will be released on a rolling basis over the coming weeks, according to the plan outlined below.

What Are Premium Features?

Guesty’s premium features offer advanced functionality to property management companies. They automate and streamline everything from pricing to guest communication and pre-stay tasks to save time and enable you to focus on growing your business. While this feature set will ultimately belong to Guesty’s Premium Plan, which will come with an additional cost down the line, it’s currently free for all users.

Which Premium Features Are Included in The Free Bundle?

There are five premium features being released over the month of June — learn more about them, how they can help during COVID-19 and when they’ll be available: 

Check-In Form | Week of June 15th, 2020

Our Check-In Form saves you time by automating the collection of guest details and requests, including any special considerations due to COVID-19.

Rental Agreements | Week of June 15th, 2020

Rental Agreements allow you to automatically send contracts and documents to be digitally signed by guests ahead of their stay, which may be particularly helpful for properties that are temporarily occupied with mid-term stays.

Yield Management | Week of June 22nd, 2020

Our Yield Management tool allows you to automatically adjust your listing prices and minimum night settings according to your predefined strategy — for example, offering increased discounts for extended stays or last-minute bookings during a time when guests are subject to constantly changing travel regulations.

Send a Quote | Phased rollout to begin week of June 22nd, 2020

Send a Quote allows you to provide discounts to specific guests so you can secure more direct bookings. This will help you book guests who may reach out to ask for special rates now, or for future bookings once travel returns to normal. 

WhatsApp Message Integration | Week of June 22nd, 2020

Manage and track all communications from one place, and improve guest experience by communicating with your guests via WhatsApp, directly from the Guesty Unified Inbox

How Will I Know When Each Feature is Released?

With the release of each of these premium features, you will receive an in-app notification via your Guesty dashboard. Each feature will also be marked with a “premium” badge so you can easily tell them apart.
