Guesty raises $35m in Series C funding: Managing listings across Airbnb, Booking. com, HomeAway & more just got even easier

Dear valued Guesty customers and partners,

Today I’m excited to share with you that Guesty has reached another milestone, closing a $35M Series C funding round.

I’m incredibly humbled to announce this news, and want to take a moment to thank our 200+ employees worldwide, as well as you, our dear partners and customers, who have supported us throughout this journey, providing valuable feedback along the way. We have seen you double, triple and even quadruple with us, and we want to truly thank you for choosing to grow with Guesty.

A quick look back

In the last year we accomplished many goals – from direct integrations with online travel platforms like TripAdvisor and Agoda, to the opening of offices in Los Angeles and Barcelona, to launching an annual short-term rental conference like no other – GuestyVal. The past 12 months were also chock-full of key product enhancements – the introduction of our improved native mobile app, the strengthening of our Unified Inbox to enable you to make decisions faster, and our platform’s multi-unit support for Airbnb and Booking.com, to name a few.

Along the way we formed new relationships with technology providers who share the same goal of facilitating seamless short-term management experiences for property managers, and strengthened existing relationships with OTAs, including enhancing our integration with Airbnb and becoming one of Booking.com’s select Premier Connectivity Providers and thus a top property management software recommended to vacation rental professionals who use the Booking.com platform.

So, what’s next?

As we look ahead, we are excited to use this new capital in three main ways:

  1. Product Enhancement: Our team looks forward to bringing the Guesty platform to the next level, increasing our product’s capabilities and making sure it’s even more flexible than it already is, all to ensure Guesty is your one-stop-shop to successful property management. This includes introducing AI and machine learning into the platform. Overall, we will offer more solutions that solve your key pain points, save you time and deliver peace of mind, so you can focus on what matters most: growing your business.
  2. Expansion: This year we will open new offices in key growth markets so we can get to know you better. This is in addition to us localizing the Guesty platform and app into 6 languages (and counting). We will also increase our efforts in providing you with more educational materials – from webinars to how-to guides – in order to help you grow, scale and strengthen your businesses.
  3. Partnerships: In 2019 we plan to further build out our already robust Integrations Marketplace by partnering with companies who aim to ease property managers’ long list of daily tasks. This will complement the existing tools our marketplace encompasses, including dynamic pricing solutions, noise monitoring technology and smart home systems.

In the fragmented ecosystem of the short-term rental industry, we have been incredibly excited to see Guesty become the go-to platform for property managers across the globe. We will continue working diligently to live up to our promise of being the end-to-end solution you can rely on every minute of every day in order to help you #ManageBetter.
